    Any dangers from charging my laptop from the cigarette ligher socket in my car?

    I want to connect my laptop (Toshiba Satellite) with the cigarette lighter socket in my car, with an adaptor. The laptop will be used only when the engine is turned off. Are there any dangers for the laptop or the car?
