    1991 Chevrolet C1500 Transmission Linkage Rod Extension. (Body lift)?

    As most Chevy people know, When installing a body lift on most older chevys,(automatic Transmission) you have to also weld the supplied Linkage Extension? Basically a small 3" long piece of metal right. So you can change From park to Drive ect.... well i'm not sure if a weld is even strong...
