there a problem keeping together? The babies are now weaned and are eating and drinking on their own. There doen't appear to be any fighting and they seem happy. If not, any suggestions for what to do with the babies? I don't have room for more cages.
Ok so i'm getting two lovebirds tommorow or the day after.
One i'll keep and the other im keeping over the march break and then giving it to a friend of mine.
Will my bird miss the other bird and be scared of me like alot?
What are the consequences???
And how big should the cage be for...
i have 2 lovebirds and next week i am going to my grandmother,s house for a week and i am taking my lovebirds with me because there is no one to look after them the place is 150 km away and i am going by car and the drive takes 4 hours how can i take them safely i had never taken any birds...
i just brought a pair of lovebirds 2 days ago they are in a cage thae cage has a place to keep food that we can open by lifting up the door and take out the dish in which the food is kept now one of my bird is trying to lift up the food dish he might have seen me doing so so i tied the door...
...much as the female...? I know my lovebirds love eachother a lot. they had babies, so the female is always in the nest, even a month after they were born...the male doesnt get as scared but if i get REAL close he's go in the nest too...I want them to be more friendly around meee =( wat can I do?
they are trying to avoid and this i know that they are scared. should just leave it there till they get used to it? or take it out and not let them enjoy the toy i bought them.
well i have 5 love birds (2 boys-3girls)
and they lay eggs and no babies have come out
their not related they have 3 nestin boxes
they were hand reared by me could that be a reason
