I was looking at Beemers, today. I see the new 1-series has the newfangled multi-piston calipers whereas the more expensive M3 has the old single-pot calipers of yore. Why?
I'm especially interested in the 2002-2005 E46 M3s as well as the other 3-series cars. Do they burn oil and how much? Do they also leak oil from the transmission or such?
