Joey's around 16 & Mai's around 24 but they're obviously attracted to each other. Do you think that's realistic that a younger guy would want to be with an older woman?

In Ghost Hunt the anime...... Naru only calls mai by her first name istead of ms taniyama ..... but someone like masako use by her last name for example he calls masako hara "ms hara" etc But my question is Why? does naru only calls mai by her first name??? Thank you for those who answer <3
