I rooted it and dont know how to update the OS. I tried to use one that gave me a froyo link and what not but it gave me a bunch of surverys that didnt work. help?

I have recently upgraded my motorolla cliq from 1.5 to 2.1.5 to be able to use Arabic on it (i.e. receive and write) but it was not an option! What can I do?

My cliq gave me a option to download 2.1 and so I said yes, but none of the lock screen or anything changed and when I go to "about phone" it says I'm still running 1.5!!! If someone could help me that would be soooo great! Thanks! :)
