I'm making a Les Misérables quiz for my friend just for fun. On the movie not the book. I already have who sang it, fill in the blanks from songs, name five songs characters ad settings, true and false, and I have pictures of the characters that she needs to label. I really want this to be a...
I'm going to see Les Mis on tour in Sacramento. However, I thought it was the same cast and the same production as the Broadway version. But it was recently announced that Les Mis was coming back out on Broadway next year, so now I'm thinking this isn't the same production as the Broadway one...
For the life of me, I can't make sense of a quote from Les Miserables and would love if someone could help me decipher it. This is an excerpt of chapter 8 where the Bishop Myriel and a senator discuss religion and the senator's ideas on agnosticism.
"You great lords have, so you say, a...
I've ragged on the Anne Hathaway Les Miserables PR tactic of constantly discussing her weight loss, but her interview with Matt Lauer on the Today Show is forcing me to renege (a little) on my constant complaints. When asked how she lost 25 pounds to play the role of Fantine, Hathaway finally...
Zero Dark Thirty was named Best Picture. Daniel Day-Lewis and his Lincoln wife, Sally Field, won Best Actor and Best Supporting Actress, respectively. Matthew McConaughey earned Best Supporting...
Anne Hathaway is on the cover of December's Vogue, and the cover story is mostly about her experience filming Les Miserables (also coming out in December). And since you can't talk about Les Mis without talking about her weight, she's found a new way to say that she starved herself for the role...
New photos are out of Anne Hathaway (aka "Anne Waste-away"*if you're the Daily Mail) looking thin on the set of 'Les Miserables.' And they pretty much prove that it was totally unnecessary for her to crash diet and lose 16 pounds for the part. More »Post from: Blisstree | Nutrition, Healthy...
Anne Hathaway is apparently eating 500 calories per day in an effort to shed 16 pounds for her role in Les Miserables—or at least, a few scenes of the film. Unlike other roles that have required Hathaway to lose weight (like Catwoman, for example), her role as Fantine—a prostitute who dies and...
Is Anne Hathaway engaging in some real-life hunger games? The bright-eyed brunette has reportedly put herself on a 500-calories-a-day crash diet in order to drop 16 pounds in less than...
I want to buy my mum the piano sheet music from Les Miserables but I know nothing about the show, or the piano, could anyone tell me what the most extensive/best piano sheet music book is from the show?
thank you
Students from many Northern California schools will perform in Les Miserables. The school edition will be performed on 4rth, 5th and 6th of February at Spreckels Performing Arts Center. This Les Miserables is the student version of Broadway smash, which eliminates few scenes to decrease the...
I was wondering if a dvd version of Les Miserables 25th anniversary will be released in the USA? I really want to see it and i'm busy the day it comes out here so i'm hoping it will come out on dvd? If you have any information about a dvd release please let me know. I want to see this newer...
I've always wanted to see this musical, and I heard they're doing a concert at the O2 in London, and I was wondering if it is going to be filmed and put on a DVD? And if it is, will it be sold in America or just England?
I'm off to watch Les Misérables the musical next week, my friend has lent me the film on DVD but dont know if I should watch the film before, or after the production as I have never seen either yet?
Has anyone seen both? Which order do you advise that I watch them in?
Many Thanks in advance!
I'm just about done reading Les Miserables and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm looking for another book to read and was wondering about War and Peace. I'm just curious how the writing style and story compares (Unabridged). I also love The Count of Monte Cristo if it's at all like that.
