    Can a GPS module (and software) be installed in a non-GPS cellphone?

    I have a chance to buy the MOST amazing cellphone at a giveaway price, but it doesn't have GPS! It is offered with a GREAT deal, but there is just no way I can get along w/o GPS for emergency (911), because I have heart failure. Any ideas?
