    Why are American Soap operas so long?

    I used to watch one when I was younger and luckily stopped. But I find it very dumb that a show can last that long on television. Some people probably die before seeing what happens to a character. Other countries have soaps and they eventually finish with in a year or two. Can't it ever end?

    Is it just me, or is Parsifal out of character with the rest of Wagner's operas?

    Met Operas on Blu-Ray? WHY NOT?

    Why is the Metropolitan Opera offer of Blu-Ray Operas so poor!? Only two: "Bellini: I Puritani" and "Onegin" WHAT about "Puccini: La Boheme" and "Puccini - Manon Lescaut" or "Humperdinck - Hansel and Grete" .... all 3 were published in >2008< but did not have a multi-release including both DVD...
