pain or discomfort

    i had a root canal three weeks ago and now i have minor pain/discomfort...

    ...when i bite down on it? accidentally or if i press it down slightly with a finger. it does not hurt otherwise. is this normal or does this mean that i have a more serious condition, i.e. an infection, etc?
