Which do you think is better quality?? Any Opinions??

I want a jeep. I am in love with the 2012 liberty, but it's big and bulky and gets very poor gas milage. I test drove a 2013 patriot and love it. I'm just wondering how the true public feel about their patriots.

Today after leaving the library, my boyfriend drove my jeep and accidentally left the parking brake on for about 3/4 mile. I smelled something funny but it went away after we put the brake down. I tried the brakes after and they were fine. Do you think I should have it checked out?
