    When kick starting a pitbike do you need to rev it ?

    okay i have a suda sdx 125cc pitbike the throttle cable has broke so i cant rev it. usually when im kick starting it i wold rev it a little to get it going but since the throttle cable has broke i cant rev it no more and it isnt starting when kick starting a pitbike do you need to rev it ?
