    How to add plasmid to an empty slot in bioshock?

    i got rid of electric bolt and now have telekinesis and incinerate. I bought a extra slot, and now i am at the gene bank, but the empty slot does not appear. when i exit the gene bank i get a pop-up tha says "warning: you have an empty slot you can put a plasmid in" what do i do?
