player or ipod

I am the only person with so much music who doesn't have either of those gadgets. I feel so unorgainsted :( I really want to buy a Ipod, but it's so expensive. So I might just buy a Phillips mp3 player or something. What do you think of this...

I use an iPod touch 2nd gen, 16GB and I use Sennheiser MX360 earphones.. ......you?

And tell me why they are on your mp3 player. Be honest. I only have the Jonas Brothers on my iPod. I have 5 of their songs. Jonas Brothers - Joe's voice is a bit strained but their songs are catchy, and When You Look Me In The Eyes is a great song.

What's the point of upgrading the firmware on your MP3 Player or iPod? Does it delete the songs? And what effects does it have on your device? Sorry but I have no idea what it is. Somebody please explain :)
