    1996 jeep cherokee polarity problem on fuel pump?

    replaced fuel pump however will not pump fuel unless i switched the two wires connected to pump. will run for short period then stall and wires nd to be switched again. this just goes on and on. appears to be a problem with the polarity in pump or elsewhere in regards to christopher's reply fuel...
