powersteering

when I turn its when I acceler? I have a 98 Toyota Tacoma/2 rear wheel drive/ with 164,000 miles. Well, you know the sound it makes when your almost out of power steering fluid and you turn the wheel, kinda like a mechanical/electronic whine? WELL, it is making that when I accelerate NOT...

do you have enough fluid in your pump? check it out? fill it up and then turn the wheel in both directions many times to eek out the air bubbles... also check your power source or alternator....a failed power source will kill the steering pump...make sure you have power to the pump before...

So I was thinking about buying this n/a mr2 that I looked at today and the owner said that there was no power steering. Did all of these come with no power steering? or maby just the n/a's? or some n/a's? what? if they did come with it, any reasoning you might come up with why it doesnt?

...leaking/broke..? is this under basic warranty 3yrs/36000 or powertrain 5yrs/60000 warranty..any info would be a big help thx....

I have a 2002 Chevy Cavalier Z24. I live in MN (coldness may cause problem?). Recently had engine replaced. Started car turned wheel and herd a POP and now the power steering does not work now. Any ideas?
