I'm confused. Is PORSCHE a one-syllable or two-syllable word?

As in Gary Numan's band. My bf insists it's pronounced "Tubber-Way" and I'm saying "Tube-Way". As in, tube, a tube of toothpaste. Please help me settle this once and for all. Thanks :)
