I was wondering on the Pokemon Pearl Rom, with the DS emulator, after giving names and stuff, how do I get passed the black screen? What button do i press on the keypad since its a rom and not the game itself? and yes im new to emulators and roms

looking at recent photos of britney spears, does anyone know (or accurately guess) how many inches her waist is? thanku.
