    will a 32inc samsung 1080i lcd work with a blu rayplayer that says 1080p hdtv?

    i am getting a free lcd samsung 1080i from a friend. The blueray player i want to buy says full 1080p hd will that work on the 1080i lcd tv. Also will my 360 work on it with hdmi i am not real good at this stuff so please help thanks
