Ok some how I got a my remote to no longer to work at all for the TV or for the TV Box. The buttons work and codes for doing a set-up works but nothing appears, and Still the box or TV will not work. And I tryed to read the booklet for a Reset back to how the remote is when it was first gotten...

Is there a way that I could sync my Dish network remote with my DVD player for full functionality? I have the HD remote that has the same buttons as the DVR remote(I believe). By full functionality, I mean like browing through the menus, and play/pause.

but should I buy a new one? This happens about once a week on average, you reach over to pick up a remote and accidentally knock it over on to the hard wood floor.
