Since Adobe Photoshop was launched in 1989 photographers have had it easy, being able to tweak images to their heart's content without getting their hands dirty. But it wasn't always like that.

Why not just leave them the way they are? I can understand minor retouching, but if the photo was taken by a good photographer, I don't see the point in messing with it if it looks good already. Is there a real reason?
