I have a Roku LT and I am wanting to hook it up through my dvd/vhs player. I have all the colored cords plugged in the front of the dvd player and am pushing the input button on my remote but the Roku doesn't show up. Please help!

I have DirecTV, and a blu-ray player that allows me to rent from Amazon Video on Demand. The only feature I like in the Roku is Netflix streaming, but I can watch it on my laptop and iPod Touch for no additional charge. Do you think it is worth the $79 ($63 in the next 24 hours)?
I have comcast cable internet service and im with netflix. The roku box wont go online with the ethernet cable. Im online with my computer but when I try to use the roku box to register it wont work. I dont know if its the modem or my computer. Please Help!!!!
I already have a ps3 , but not sure if I should get the PlayOn media server to watch netflix or if I should invest in another piece of hardware such as the Roku box. Can anyone compare video quality between the two?
