Would each of them work on the other phone? My Samsung Corby S3653 isn't available in shops anymore and neither are the back covers, but the brooklyn's are.

I have read about them over the internet (I am interested in buying one) but have seen it says they are great for IM and facebook and stuff like that. Is it worth it if I will only be using it as a phone without using internet and IM ?
