    Seatpost diameter for Raleigh Vitesse 4130 1980s road bike?

    I can't tell if it's 26 or 26.2mm. I got this bike without a seatpost and the clamp is a bit bent so can't take a correct measurement.

    Ok, I just bought a new BMX and dont have any experience with building them, ive put it all together myself and done all the tough complicated bit fine: no probs, its all working and smooth and cool ...but the seat post wont attach to the frame tube. :/ This should be one of the easyest bits...

    What do the measurements (350 x 30.9mm) for a mtn. bike seatpost refer to?

    If 350mm refers to the length, would it be okay to purchase a seatpost that is 382mm?
