my first choice would have to be Wolf's Rain. It's setting is post-apocolypta, there cities are sort of medeival but modern. They're isolated towns in a bleak land.
my next choice would be full metal alchemist, because i'm a bit of a sucker for the steampunk genre. I like how it blends in...
