showjumping

i dont do alot of showjumping but i want to get better and i am going to start going to some shows, but when i go over the jump my lower legs fly back, the stay in contact with the horse while going over them jump and they come back down when landing. Any tips on how to help this? thanks x

just wondering. :-) ok thx 4 the anwers its cuz my horse keeps his mouth open like hes yawning when i ride him and i dont want him to get his toung over the bit any suggestions! :]
