    solobaric kicker 12 is super hot i have it wired in series and its @ 2 ohms

    should i got to one or less? I would like to run the sub at 2 ohms which is what my amp says is stable at so i really don't want to go down to 1 ohm but the sub is so hot it is starting to smell burnt metal and when i touch it it is super hot any help would be nice?
