spearmint

Is there a spearmint plant in the Philippines and where?

You ever chew spearmint gum or some other type of gum and drink some slightly cool water at the same time? I have, and for some reason it seems to make the water taste colder. Perhaps it is the chemicals in the gum mixed with the water idk.. lol
