I would like to know if my 1993 gmc sierra that has a chevy 350 small block has a stator inside of it? Ive tried looking around a bit but i cant find anything, and when i went to autozone they had stator and the pick-up coil in the same menu but their fitment parts only showed the pick-up coil...
some times it gets spark and some times it doesnt and i air cleaned the stator and it got spark for an hour then stopped again now i cant get any spark.
cant pull out flywheel i tried already so what can i do?

I'm pretty sure its my cdi thats bad, but I've also been told the check the stator, hows would I check that to make sure its functioning like it should be??
