struts

So, I need to replace both of my front end struts- dealer sells $160 for one side and generic German parts shop offers $90. Should I get them from the dealer or forigen shop? I'm not sure if I need the best quality for my suspension? Thank you

When you buy front struts for your car at an auto parts store, do they come in pairs, or are they sold individually?

My rear shocks (or struts) freeze in very cold temps and this winter I'll have to replace them. How can I tell whether I have shocks or struts? I know struts are more costly to replace. I'd rather know before I trust a mechanic (not to mention I'd rather not sound too dumb). Anybody know...

I have an 05 Titan with 50K, I replaced the rear shocks myself as its easy to do but the front has struts and I would have to get those done. At what mileage should these be replaced at? Will new struts make the truck sit a little higher in front? It seems to have sagged a bit since it was new.

I have a 2005 subaru impreza 2.5 sti and am trying to source a pair of new rear standard struts. I dont want to go for a coil over kit as want to keep car standard. Subaru want two arms and a leg for them. Any help would be appreciated.
