Why does DC have so many characters with Man, Woman, Girl, Boy, Lad, Lass or Lady, Maid, or Maiden, etc. in the title? SuperMAN, Wonder WOMAN, BatMAN, BatGIRL, AquaMAN, AquaLAD, HawkMAN, HawkGIRL, CatWOMAN, Wonder GIRL, Phantom LADY, etc. and not to mention characters like the ones on the list...
