I have a 5 speed tranny in it and I just rebuilt it. It surged before I rebuilt it so I don't think that it is in the engine itself. It runs perfect when it is cold and only surges when it warms up. It does it about 2000 rpm. I thought that maybe it might be the converter but I am not sure. Can...
I replaced the before cat o2 sensor it has 1/2 tank of gas and used fuel injector cleaner. Ran good right after the cleaner and drove about 40 miles before the car started surging again.
i have a 98 7.4 liter gmc serria and it surgers 3 or four times when i stop at a light or something and then i just stops it only does it a few times when im stoped when im going its fine. i chagend the map sensor and the egr valve that dint work.
Yamaha srx 250 1984. I cleaned carby and now it idles really nicely but when i take off it surges really badly . What have i done wrong? Could it be the synchronisation between the two carbs as i adjusted this setting?
...protected strip be enough? I am moving, and the roommate said that there has been a couple of surges. Will a multi-plug unit with surge proctection be adequate in protecting my computer (and other electronics?)
If so, WHAT IS A VERY RELIABLE MULTI-PLUG UNIT (Strip etc)?
just bought an intrepid for $100 with a broken timing belt. replaced the belt now motor surges at idle between 500 and 1000 rpm. After acceleration it will often stall. no fault codes in computer. Has me stumped. Any ideas?
Just put a timing belt on and runs good except the motor surges at idle between 500 and 1000 rpm. Also has a bad hesitation on acceleration. I was thinking maybe tps or idle speed sensor. Any ideas?
