The car makes a strange whining noise while driving it. What could this be? It's not the brakes, it's just the sound makes as it drives. Doesn't sound like it's coming from the wheels, either... I thought it may be the transmission but my husband says it's not.. however, he's one of those...

Performance mode. Difference? Is the Performace mode better for the trans? Does it help the trans last longer? Does it use more gas in Performance mode?

Seems like the air vent stays open, even when I don't need it. Where is the off button?

...in cold weather too.? Only 50K miles, runs good, but engine electric fans comes on anytime I'm in slow traffic. Is this normal, in winter weather? Is that electric fan the main source of cooling the engine? Also, my automatic trans slips, when going into reverse.
