swordtail

Hi last week I brought 2 koi swordtails, the female has a red gravid spot and is quite fat. The came from a tank with many other males and females. Do you think she will drop soon, or does she need her gravid spot need to turn black??? Any other details will be greatly appreciated.

i really want them to mate.but i don't know how do make them or how to keep the babies form being eaten
