    Does the Kenny Rogers song "The Gambler" take place on June 20th?

    In the song "The Gambler", the first line is "On a warm Summer's Eve on a train bound for Norway". Is Summer's Eve referring to June 20th, the eve of the first day of Summer? Also, how can you ride to Norway on a train unless you're already in Europe?

    What does he mean when he says " And somewhere in the darkness the gambler, he broke even. But in his final words I found an ace that I could keep" Does "the gambler breaking even" mean he died? What was "the ace that he could keep"? Was it the gambler's advice? Maybe I just answered my own...
