transcoding

I burn a lot of movies with Nero Vision and I would really like to be able to pre-transcode the files before burning. Is this possible? Id like to avoid the long wait of the transcoding process and just burn. Is there a certain file type it transcodes it too? Thanks! Hope I explained myself...

what is transcoding stream and can i do anything about it to make my dvd burning faster?

Every time I make a dvd it transcodes the video file i put in which takes about an hour and a half and then burns it to the disk. I want to burn about 50 copies of a movie. Is there any way i can do this without having to transcode the file after every burn.
