    I am going to buy a TWS-434A Low-Cost 434MHz RF Transmitter Module. What is the

    optimum range? I am trying to make a low-cost 8 bit transmitter. If you know of any other similar chips, please say so. The data sheet is at http://www.rentron.com/remote_control/TWS-434.htm.
