i just found of about this movie series wile looking for movies about vampires that didn't sparkle...well anyway its sapposted to be rated R for "strong violence/gore and some language" , i cant stand gore, so can someone tell me if the gore is that bad in the movie, i really want to watch it...

Or does it work on SDTV? And also I heard that all Region 2 and 4 titles require HD TVs. Is there truth to this?
