    Do UVs travel through untinted glass?

    I have a marine aquarium and it has a UV bulb. Does the rays travel through the untinted glass?

    Do UVs travel through aquarium glass tops?

    Do UV rays travel through untinted glass? I have a UV bulb on my marine tank and someone at a petstore told me that the UVs traveled through my glass top (untinted). Is that true? Or do I need to take the glass off?
