    HELP!! Any experiences? Will the new apple iPod/iPhone OS version4 damage my...

    ...second gen iPod touch? My friend has a second gen iPod and said that when he downloaded the new os and installed it, it stopped the external speakers from working. Has anything happened to anyone else or is it safe to download?
