I tried making myself offline by login into fb account from web browser, and turn off chat for all. But still people are able to see me online because...

I have a Nokia 5530 which is awesome, but when I am outside, there is almost no visibility of what's on the screen. Is there a screen protector or something I can use to see the display better outside? The outside mode on the phone doesn't help at all.
