voicemails

when I call my voice-mail on my blackberry storm all the numbers on the dial pad disappear and i cant delete my voice-mail

I'd like to know whether deleted voicemails are able to be recovered? Are they stored on the Phone or with network provider? On eastenders a murder has been recorded on a voicemail and then simply deleted, can this voicemail be recovered to us as evidence? Thanks

I receive harassing calls around midnight, while my BlackBerry Curve is off and charging. I have a call blocking app but it only works while the phone is powered on.
