took it to the shop started fine when i got home then went to lake it only cranked and that's it looks like the waterpump is not sucking would that prevent it from starting ?
It's a BMW 525i from 1990. It says you need to remove the upper and right bolt but not the 3rd one (south), turn the waterpump downwards and then remove the 3rd bolt.

i have a 96 ford ranger and i recently put a water pump in it. after i was i done it started up fine. i turned it off and tried to start it again and nothing is happening. is there something little or stupid that i could of hit of detached while installing the water pump?
...radiator, hoses, thermostat.? why does it still keep overheating.... also, I put in a refurbished engine(just in case it was the head gasket)
also, i need to replace a part the is behind the waterpump (it think it's some kinda of sensor, but i don't know the name of this part)
