    In the new live-action DRAGONBALL Z movie, why is Goku white/Caucasian?

    Isn't he supposed to be Japanese? I don't get it. Example: if you were to adapt a Jane Austen novel into a film, the actors are white, not Indian. The DRAGON BALL Z universe is Japanese, so why use white American actors?
