Desperately need help! They stopped suddenly in an upright position during a storm. Told it could be motor burnout. Replaced motor and they still are not working. Can't drive on a rainy day!
...working.? Today when I went to work my key didn't turn in the ignition right, after work the key still felt weird in the ignition and would not start. Now my turn signals, windshield wipers, and stereo do not work. What could cause this? I have no other way to work and everything, please help.
my wipers were working fine then they slowly started jerking like a skipping, then they quit but they would work on full blast then 10 min later they just dont work at all. please help
I had ice on my car yesterday and cleared it with warm water, i turned on my front wipers and they worked fine. This morning again i had ice on my car i used de icer and tried to turn on my wiper but nothing happend?

They worked like a month ago, but now when I turn them on they won't move. If I turn them on and pull on the wipers by hand they'll go up and down once or twice then stop moving even in the up position. It's on a 1989 Chevy S-10 2WD.

I have replaced the blades, to no effect. When the windscreen wipers are running, they usually squeal - loudly. They do not squeal when it is raining hard, or for the first swipe when the windscreen is wet. It is a low squeal, but loud. Could the wiper blade springs be too weak?
