A new study found that women who are infected with the parasite T. Gondii (which is transmitted in cat poop) have an increased risk of committing suicide. And while pregnant women have long been cautioned not to handle cat excrement because of the risk of toxoplasmosis, the mental health link is one that's only sort of been floated by fringe scientists and is actually pretty scary.
