It goes away after a few minutes. I discovered today that when I turn the temp control to cold air will blow out of my defroster but when I turn it to max heat it no air comes out. It blows out hot air through the face vents just not the defrost. The carpet inside isn't wet. Could my heater core have failed or be in the process of failing?</blockquote>
