I bought a used 2001 Ford Escape on 12/31/08. It was AS-IS bodywork on the paper. The transmission went last night. Would that be something that the used car lot would have to fix or am I going to be stick fixing it? He told use everything on the vehicle was in great running order and it only needed body work.
