Im looking at a 04 wrx. I want it really bad but wanna know if the motor has to many miles on it. It has61k. What do you think? when do they need to be rebuilt?

You should be ok mileage wise if the vehicle has been properly maintained.Consider doing a car fax on the vehicle to see if it has any
bad history plus if it was maintained by the dealer who sold it you be able to veiw the maintence records.

have the car checked out by a mechanic he will be able to answer all of your questions well worth the money
Alright, I'll tell you flat out. Run a carfax report. If it doesn't have any accidents reported, go for it.
I have an '05 Legacy GT with 82K on it (yeah, newer and more miles). It has a downpipe, catback, intake, and it's running stage 2 from Cobb's AccessPort. With all of that nonsense, I've never had any engine troubles. I drive hard, too. Stop-and-go traffic, city miles, and even some autocross when I have the time. They're great vehicles. If anybody can make an engine meant to handle miles and performance, it's Subaru.
