08-09 Hyundai Sonata V6 vs WRX?

In a 1/4 mile what would win a stock WRX vs a V6 newer Sonata. I ask due a a drive up I70 the other day and a WRX was coming up on me going uphill and I cought him and passed him I could hear the turbo wining. Anyone ever seen this two cars head to head?

personally from a stop i think the wrx would have a good chance cause its awd and wouldnt have to worry about hooking up

Are you serious? He wasn't racing you. Your Hyundai has 175 horsepower/ 168lbs of torque and weighs 3292lbs. His WRX has 265 horsepower/ 244lbs of torque and weighs 3175. The Suburu is a little lighter and has much more power than the Sonata. He wasn't racing you. If he was, you would have no shot.
